Prinecton Ave. House Fire
Wednesday, December 14, 2016

Shortly before midnight, the SFD and Fruitland were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 300-block of Princeton Ave.  AC-1 (Frampton) arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the second floor and established Command.  E16 and PM16 arrived and began an aggressive interior attack and primary search. Crews located fire in the knee walls and void spaces between the first and second floor.  PM1 arrived and assisted with outside ventilation and utilities.  E1, E2, and E301 arrived simultaneously, providing much needed relief to the initial crews.  E1 made the roof and performed vertical ventilation to relieve the intense heat on interior crews.  E2 secured a second water source and assisted with utilities and RIT.  E301's crew deployed a second line from E16 and assisted with extinguishment.  Tower 16 arrived and assisted with overhaul.  Neighborhood Services, Red Cross, and The State Fire Marshal all responded and assisted.  Crews cleared the scene around 215am.
