Salisbury Fire Department Assists Hebron & Westside - Hebron

Salisbury Fire Department Station 16 was alerted to respond and assist Station 5 Hebron and Station 12 Westside with a reported house fire. Prior to units arrival, 1617, (S. Records), arrived on scene in his personal vehicle and advised of a working fire in a single story wood frame dwelling. He also advised there were pets inside the residence. Upon arrival of Engine 16, fire was showing from side A/B window. 1617 directed the crew of Engine 16 to advance an attack line to side B. Entry was made by crew of Engine 16 and 1617 through side B door. The fire was located in the kitchen and knocked. A search began for the pets with assistance from crews of Station 5 Hebron. All pets were located and removed from the structure. One dog was resuscitated at the scene and transported via Hebron EMS to a local animal hospital. Engine 16 crew assisted with overhaul and clean-up. All units cleared without incident.
