Salisbury Fire Department

Salisbury Fire Department, along with Delmar Fire Department, was disptached for a structure fire at 1335 hours at Mill Pond Lane Apartments. Assistant Chief 1, (Scott), arrived on scene and assumed Command with smoke showing from a three story apartment building. Truck 2 stretched 150' of 1 3/4" line to fire on the 3rd floor and extinguished the fire. The situation was placed under control within approxmitely 20 minutes. Crews remained on scene for overhaul and clean-up. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office was requested and the scene was left to them. All units returned to service without incident.
