Salisbury Fire Department

The Salisbury Fire Department was contacted by members of the west side of Elizabeth Street and requested to participate in a “block party” being held by their neighborhood consisting of various streets in “Newtowne”. The SFD sent an engine comprised of both career and volunteers from Station 16 as well as Assistant Chief 1 and all three medic units. The crews were provided hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, and various accompaniments and were extremely appreciative of the efforts of the community to take care of them! The crew, in turn, provided information on fire prevention and and an equipment display. Again, a big thank you to the residents of Elizabeth Street for inviting us to their block party!
