It is with our deepest and sincere regrets to inform you that Retired Assistant Chief David Walston answered his last alarm on Monday, July 2,2012. Retired Chief Walston joined the Salisbury Fire Department in 1984 and was a member at Salisbury Fire Department Station 2. He later transferred to Salisbury Fire Department Station 1. Throughout his years of service, he rose up through the ranks and retired as an Assistant Fire Chief. The Department mourns the loss of our dear brother and offers condolences to his family. Funeral services will be held at Holloway's Funeral Home and are as follows: Viewing: Thursday July 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday July 6, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Funeral Service: Friday July 6, 2012 beginning at 12:00 pm Internment at Parsons Cementary following the Funeral Service Stations wishing to participate in the Funeral Service with apparatus are asked to contact Fire Headquarters at 410-548-3120.
