Salisbury Fire Department

Units From Station 16,2, and 1 responded to a reported house fire at 430 Keene Ave. Engine 16 arrived and advised smoke showing from the A/D corner of a small single family home. Crews quickly stretched an attack line through side A to extinguish a fire in the front bedroom. Primary searches were under way and completed by the crew from PM-2 (searches were negative). Crews remained on scene for some time for salvage and overhaul. Assistant Chief O'Barsky had Keene Ave. Command. The home was occupied at the time of the fire, however all occupants safely exited the structure.
