Salisbury Fire Department

Once again Stations 1, 2 and 16 were dispatched to a reported house fire. While units were en-route the dispatch center advised they were receiving several reports confirming a working fire. Engine 1 arrived and confirmed fire in a single story single family residence and stretched and attack line to the front door. Truck 1 arrived and made entry into the structure and completed a primary search. Engine 16 arrived and stretched a 2nd attack and assisted with suppression. Truck 1 confirmed searches were negative and remained in the structure and assisted with opening up the walls and ceiling. Crews again made quick work of the fire and remained on scene for several hours completing overhaul. Stations 74, 5 and 3 were called to cover Salisbury Stations.
