Salisbury Fire Department

Around 2000 hrs Salisbury Fire Department was dispatched to a reported MVC with rescue at the intersection of West Rd. and W. Isabella St. Upon arrival AC-1 (O’Barsky) established Isabella St. Command, reported a single vehicle on its side into the guide wires of an electrical pole. Crew from PM-16 confirmed entrapment, R-16 led by Act. Lt. Morris arrived on scene and began vehicle stabilization. Tk-2 arrived on location and deployed 1 ¾ hand line, assisted with stabilization and extrication of the patient. It took crews approximately 20/25 minutes to remove the patient who was extremely combative. PM-16 continued care and transported the patient to PRMC for further evaluation
