Salisbury Fire Department

Station 16, 2, and 1 were dispatched to a structure fire in the 800 block of Miami Ave. Assistant Chief 1 (Donaway) arrived and advised smoke showing from the C-side of a 1000 square foot single story single family home. Engine 16 arrived and advanced an attack line through the front door into the kitchen and extinguished the fire. Truck 2 arrived and completed a primary search of the residence with negative results. Tanker 1 arrived and supplied engine 16. PM1 transported 1 occupant to PRMC with smoke inhalation. Crews remained on scene for sometime for overhaul.
