Salisbury Fire Department

Around 00:30 Hours, Salisbury Fire Station 1 along with Rescue 16 and Paramedic 16 were dispatched for a motor vehicle crash with subject reported trapped and car was reported on fire. Deputy Chief 2 (Smith) arrived and advised that the subject was out of the vehicle and the vehicle was on fire on its side. Engine 1 arrived and extinguished the blaze while the crew from Paramedic 1 treated and transported the patient to PRMC. There were no other injuries. Rescue 16 and Paramedic 16 were placed in service once it was confirmed there was no rescue. Engine 1 remained on scene for a short time until being released by Deputy Chief 2.
