Salisbury Fire Department

At 15:10 hours, all three stations were dispatched to 629 Decatur Ave in the Doverdale section of town for a reported house on fire. Units were on the road and responding within thirty seconds of the dispatch. Just blocks from station 2, Truck 2 went on the scene with a single story rancher, with a light volume of smoke from the front door. The crew made entry and discovered the fire to be food on the stove with some extension up into the cabinets. Engine 16 and Truck 1 arrived simultaneously but remained staged before being released just a few minutes later. Assistant Chief 1(Donaway) had the Decatur Ave command.
