Salisbury Fire Department

Dispatch alerted Station 2 at 06:56 hrs. for the report of a vehicle fire with possible exposure to a residence. Truck 2 responded and arrived on the scene to find fire showing from the engine compartment of a passenger vehicle. Truck 2's crew deployed 100' of 1 3/4" line and began exposure protection and extinguishment. The fire was contained to the vehicle and was extinguished quickly.  The incident was placed under control at 07:07 hrs. with some minor overhaul left to complete. Truck 2 picked up and returned to service at 07:30 hrs.
