Members trained today on Rescue Operations. Rescue Randy was "trapped" beneath a vehicle and crews utilized air bags, hi-lift jacks, and Hurst spreaders as Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C to affect Randy's extrication. Each method simulated possible mechanical failure of the previous method, forcing crews to "think on their feet" in order to formulate strategies and tactics to address the possibility of such issues presenting themselves. Cribbing was also a significant portion of the exercise and was used capture progress made during the lift.
