Fire Engine Static Display at Trinity United Methodist Church
Thursday, June 26, 2014

On Thursday, June 26, 2014, Members of Salisbury Fire Department assisted Trinity United Methodist Church with their Annual Bible School event, held at the church on North Division Street in Salisbury. The engine crew presented a static display for all of the children and adults that were present. All of the children were given fire hats, stickers, pencils, erasers, and information on how to keep safe in the event of a fire. The kids also were able to see all of the compartments and tools on the fire engine, as well as climb through the passenger compartment to see where the firefighters ride. The information the Salisbury Fire Department presented is important for teaching children how to remain calm in an emergency and how to safely get out in the event of a fire.
