Salisbury Fire Department

In a show of support for the Salisbury Fire Department’s long standing tradition of providing smoke alarms to those in need the local Ace Hardware retailer, Rommel’s Ace Hardware, donated $700 worth of smoke alarms to the Salisbury Fire Department earlier this week. The SFD provides smoke alarms to the citizens of Salisbury, at no cost, at each of the three fire stations, through our free home fire safety checks, and as part of our “After the Fire Program”. Since the 1970’s thousands of lives have been saved by smoke alarms In the United States; working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire by more than half. This generous donation will ensure that the Salisbury Fire Department can continue to provide alarms to those in need.
