Division St. AC-1 (Frampton) and PM-1 arrived on location to find a working fire on the second floor of a 2-1/2 story aprtment building. Subjects standing on the street advised of an occupant still on the second floor. The crews of PM-1 and PM16-1 quickly entered the structure and began an aggressive search on the second floor. TK-1 arrived and their crew was sent to the second floor to assist, as well. It was soon learned the occupant had been helped to safety by another resident via a rear stairwell. E16 was responding from a previous call on the west side of town; and upon their arrival laid out 300 feet of 5-inch supply line and advanced a hoseline to the second floor to extinguish the fire and provide relief to interior crews.
