Salisbury Fire Department

At about 0230 hours Station 16, 2, and 1 were alerted for a commercial buidng fire on the 500 block of West Salisbury Parkway (7-11 Store). Inital arriving units reported evacuation in progress and smoke in the building. Crews quickly knocked down and extinguished the fire in the bathroom area of the store. Crews remained on scened for aproximatly 2 hours. The Maryland State Fire Marshall's Office and City of Salisbury Neighborhood Services Code Compliance were also on site.
