Salisbury Fire Department

Just prior to 1300 hours Stations 1, 16 and 2 were alerted for the townhouse fire in the 1700 block of Woodbrooke Drive in Salisbury.  Crews arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the front door of a 2 story, middle of the row townhouse, and were able to extinguish the fire within minutes as the fire was contained by sprinklers in the unit.  Crews checked for extension and performed various salvage and overhaul duties before returning to service.  The scene was turned over to Maryland State Fire Marshal and NSCC upon their arrival.  AC 1 (O'Barsky) had the incident command.
