Salisbury Fire Department

Salisbury units responded to the second structure fire of the day at 535 Alabama Ave this evening. Engine 16 responded to a reported appliance fire and Dispatch upgraded the call to a structure fire just prior to arrival. Engine 16 arrived to find fire showing on Side D and out the front door and window. Crews quickly brought the fire under control in 10 minutes. The cause of the fire was unattended cooking.
