Early Morning House Fire
Monday, December 22, 2014

Shortly after 530am the Salisbury Fire Department was alerted for a house fire on Phillip Morris Drive.  First arriving units found smoke showing from the C/D corner of a 1-1/2 story, wood frame, single family dwelling.  AC-1 (Frampton) established the Phillip Morris Drive Command.  E16 arrived and positioned on the A/D corner and deployed an attack line to the interior of the structure where they found moderate smoke conditions and fire in the walls.  E1 arrived shortly after and assited on the exterior with removing siding and and debris from the chimney's cleanout.  The occupants had escaped from the home prior to the arrival of SFD units; thanks to a working smoke alarm.  Crews cleared the scene shortly after 7am.
