Salisbury Fire Department

Jordan Moss was the Pinehurst Elementary School's 1st  Place winner for the Salisbury Fire Department's "Blazing a Trail for Literacy" Reading Program. Jordan read the most minutes at Pinehurst during the event. He was the SFD-Junior Fire Chief for the Day this Friday April 10, 2015. He toured the SFD Station 16, received a brief history of the SFD, and was awarded the Fire Chief badge by Deputy Chief Tull. Jordan was driven to Pinehurst Elementary School on Engine 16-1. The entire second grade students and staff were present to congratulate Jordan's accomplishment. The SFD is extremely proud of Jordan and the entire Second Grade at Pinehurst Elementary School for going above and beyond during the reading program.
