Salisbury Fire Department

Christopher Jones is the First Prize winner of the Blazing A Trail For Literacy Program at Chipman Elementary School.  Christopher accepted the program's challenge to read as much as possible during the program and, as a result of his efforts, was bestowed the honor of Fire Chief For The Day for the SFD!  His prize included an extensive tour of Station 16 and the honorary title of Fire Chief For The Day.  Chief Jones was then transported to Chipman Elementary aboard Engine One as the Acting Officer.  

Congratulations to all the young folks who participated in the literacy program.  They are all winners for their reading efforts!!  Great Job!
