Salisbury Fire Department

At 1152Hrs, All three Salisbury Stations were alerted for a reported house fire. Enroute, units were advised that it was a kitchen fire with extension into the living room. Truck 1 arrived on scene and confirmed the working fire. Assistant Chief 1 arrived and assumed command. Truck 1's can man held the fire in check while Engine 16-1's crew stretched an 1 3/4" handline for extinguishment. Truck 2 controlled utilities and assisted Truck 1 with overhaul. Situation was placed under control at 1213Hrs and units cleared scene by 1245Hrs.
