Salisbury Fire Department

Just before 3pm the SFD was alerted for a structure fire in the 1200-block of Mt. Hermon Rd.  AC-1 (Frampton) arrived on location with smoke showing from the C/D corner of a 1-1/2 story wood-framed structure.  ET1-1 and TK-1 arrived simultaneously and took position on the A-side.  Crews placed a hand line in service and began opening up on the first floor to find fire that had started in the kitchen and extended up into the attic.  A second hand line was placed in service and crews quickly knocked down the fire.  Units remained on scene for about an hour conducting overhaul.
