At 07:46:31, Stations 16, 2, and 5 were alerted for a reported structure fire - Wicomico Central Dispatch advised units en route the attached deck to the home was on fire - 1618 (Cotter) arrived via POV advising fire currently confined to deck area and had not extended into structure - requested 1.75" handline stretched to the fire area for extinguishment (from E16) - AC1 (Jester) arrived and assumed St. Andrews Drive command - humans and K9s evacuated from structure - crews checked for extension in adjoining porch area (none) - crews checked origin of smoke condition inside structure (no extension, residual only) - FMO requested - entire area wet down/overhauled after extinguishment - tailboard critique executed w/ 21B and 22B - scene left to occupants and FMO for investigation and cause determination
