Tower 16 (a 95' Tower Ladder) provided a "flying standpipe" that delivered water the first ninety-five feet toward the area of the fire. A handline was then connected to the waterway and secured to a personnel platform that was raised via aerial crane the remainder of the height, enabling complex personnel the ability to extinguish the fire.
