Salisbury Fire Department

Members of the Salisbury Fire Department recently provided fire extinguisher training to returning Salisbury University Resident Assistants (RA). The group of young people were given classroom instruction on basic fire theory and fire extinguisher principles prior to moving to the training area for practical application purposes. The training is a requirement for all RA and provided valuable information and practical experience to the students. Hopefully, the students will never be required to utilize their new skills however several stated they now had confidence in their ability to attempt to handle incipient fires that may occur in their dorms or apartments. FFEMTB Ozman, Lt Rathel, and AC Gladwell participated in the delivery of the training.
