Salisbury Fire Department

On January 14th, 2012 members of the SFD participated in a side by side hands on demo involving Hurst  and Holmatro rescue tools.  The crews spent several hours at using both sets of tools. Crews utilized high pressure, low pressure and self contained edraulic units.  Currently the SFD is evaluating out current tools and deciding on what tools we will be using in the future.  Thank you to all that participated and provided your input and recommendations.  Special thanks to Sam Pearce of Chesapeake Fire Equipment, Don Nash of Specialty Rescue Inc, and Salisbury Scrap (formerly Delmarva Recycling) manager John Hommel.
