Salisbury Fire Department

Each year, the employees of the Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport who are also the airport's firefighters, must successfully complete a two-day recertification process.  The topics covered include SCBA familiarization, bunker gear donning/doffing, and evolutions with the airport's firefighting apparatus, ARFF 1.  Joined this year by Station 6 (Parsonsburg), the participants honed their skills by executing numerous evolutions, many of which also included the SFD members.  The members of the Salisbury Fire Department were an integral part in the recertification process and look forward to assisting again next year.
