Salisbury Fire Department

The Home Depot Store # 2561 in Salisbury, MD. and Manager Matthew Burrier graciously donated $680.51 in Specialty Rescue Equipment to the Salisbury Fire Department. The Specialty Rescue Kit is the first of its kind on the Lower Eastern Shore of Delmarva. It will be used for rapid deployment on Industrial Accidents, Farm Machinery Accidents, and Machinery/Entanglement incidents.

The Salisbury Fire Department wishes to sincerely thank the Home Depot Store and Mr. Burrier for their generosity and dedication to the SFD, City of Salisbury, and Wicomico County by their donation.

The SFD membership will train on the Specialty Rescue Kit over the next few weeks and the equipment will be placed on Rescue 16 to better serve the SFD and surrounding community.
