Salisbury Fire Department

Members of the SFD spent time at Chipman Elementary this afternoon visiting with kindergarten and PreK children in an effort to teach the young ones to not be scared of firefighters if they should happen to encounter them in an emergency situation.  72 children and 12 teachers received the opportunity to learn a little about firefighters, their apparatus, and their gear during the 30 minute long presentation given by members of Engine 16 and Truck 2.  A great time was had by all !!
