Salisbury Fire Department

Around 2200 hours stations 2, 16, and 1 were dispatched to an apartment fire at the Moss hill apartments. Engine 16 arrived and confirmed a working fire in a single unit of 10 unit apartment building. The crew from 16 stretched an attack line through the front door and work confronted by heavy fire conditions. The crew from Truck 1 completed primary searches and checked for extension in the B and D exposures. Searches were negative however crews reported extension into the D exposure. The crew from Engine 2 pulled a 2nd line and extinguished the fire. Crews remained on scene for some time for overhaul. A/C Gladwell had command.
