Small Fire For Crews In The Camden Section of The City
Monday, October 31, 2016
Around 5pm, a call came into wicomico 911 stating there was a house believed to be on fire. Engines 16,1 and Truck 2 along with the assistant chief all went responding. Asst. Chief 1 arrived and assumed command with a single story single family rancher, with smoke coming from the eves on side A and D. The ladder truck took side A and began laddering the house. Engines 16 and 1 stretched the 200' and 250' preconnects and made entry side A. Crews split to either side of the house once inside trying to find the attic access. They found both the access as well as popping a few inspection holes revealing the location of the fire, which was extinguished. Fire involved an exhaust fan in a bathroom which then spread to insulation and rafters.
