SFD completes After the Fire Program on Virginia Avenue
Sunday, November 13, 2016
The Salisbury Fire Department has a long-standing program whereby its members will saturate a neighborhood after it had been impacted by a fire, in an effort to make sure there are working smoke alarms in each home in the neighborhood. That tradition continued today as the SFD saturated the Virginia Avenue neighborhood in an effort to make the homes more fire safe. SFD crews visited a total of 27 homes today. Members installed smoke alarms and replaced batteries as needed.
