Salisbury Fire Department

On Sunday February 24th the Salisbury Fire Department stations 16, 2, and 1 were alerted for a building fire at 1004 Fairground Dr., Pemberton Apartments. Units arrived to find a 3 story apartment building with fire showing from an apartment on the 2nd floor. Engine crews arrived and stretched attack lines to the fire floor while the truck companies made quick primary searches and ventilated the building. Crews made quick work of the fire and were on scene for an extended period time. The Salisbury Fire Department was assisted by Station 3 Fruitland and Station 5 Hebron. Asst. Chief 1 (O’Barsky) had command.
